Prizes
Important notes:
The prizes has been reviewed base on the number of teams registered by making payment / verbally registered. So far, we have 8 teams registered and paid, and another 7 teams verbally registered. And the queries for this hunt is still coming in.
To be safe, we should get at least 15 teams for this hunt on the hunt day, and the co-cocs feel that his hunt should continue, even we don't get the initial targeted numbers, due to various new faces (at least to us) have registered, and we don't want to dissapoint them by cancelling the hunt. If there is increase of teams, the prizes will be increased proportionately. Anyway, this is suppose the last open hunt in the year.
As per this blog concept, we will make everything transparent rather than in some hunts, you will only know you get much less than advertised only after the hunt. Teams that not agreeable to this measure or need further explanation, please contact us at our email.
Even, with the prizes review, the prizes for non-master teams remains. As stated, we want some non-master teams to win some prizes too, and in this hunt, if your team is the best placed non-master team, minimum, your team can break even and get RM 300. Anyway, this hunt is suppose to be a charity hunt in the festive season.
As per most festival hunt or hunt in this nature, the formula is pretty much
Prizes = Total Collected - (Food + Venue)
It's in giving that one receives. Here's the page that will interest all hunters - THE PRIZES (subject to further increase if more teams take part).

What to expect?
Tis the season to be giving!!! So why not indulge in some fun and challenging activity while giving to charity :-)
There a right mix of COCs so we guarantee a new and enriching experience in treasure hunting for the newbies and novice hunters. Also at the same time this hunt will be challenging enough for the regulars and master hunters to crack those brains!!
The hunt will be a typical motor treasure hunt that consists of route clues, treasure clues and brain teasers.
All proceeds from cash donations and treasures will be given to:
Pusat Jagaan Kanak-kanak Kurang Upaya KIRTARSH
27 Jalan Melor 1B,
Bukit Beruntung,
48300 Rawang.
Tel Num: 03-6028 2841 / 03-6028 3527
Fax Num: 03-6028 2641
A brief description of the centre:
A non-political, non-racial, non-religious and non-profitable organisation specially established to look into the needs of 'special children' in their immediate shelter, food, education, therapy, medication and general well-being. There are currently 30 children in their care, consisting of Down Syndrome children, autistic children, slow-learning children, hyper-active children and intellectually disabled children, as well as children suffering from audio impairment and also children from poor background and broken homes
We strongly encourage all hunters to be generous when submitting the treasures as all the treasures will definitely be very useful for the centre above.
All transactions will be shown in this blog for transparency under Accounting page.

Grandmaster hunter and current Sun Hunt master champion team member, Jayaram Menon (from Penang) has agreed to join our COCs lineup to contribute a few questions to spice up the hunt.
The most challenging treasure hunt in Malaysia, Penang Mensa Hunt EyeQ series is clerked by Jayaram Menon, well known as Jay. Thus, with his inclusion the COC team of 2512 hunt is complete which includes Rajj, Shirley and CK Loh, Klang Valley's hunter need not to travel all the way to Penang, to sample Jay's clue. They will have chance to solve variety of different style of clues by several COCs in a single hunt.
The purpose of more COCs in this hunt is more to provide hunters different styles in one hunt, rather than for COCs to outdo each other to craft difficult clues. Making the clues difficult for newbie hunters is not in the agenda, in fact the agenda is making the hunt fun and educational, yet the newbie hunters can achieve the passing marks for the hunt with ease. More COCs meaning possibly more new idea to make this very possible.
Don't worry newbie hunters, this is the hunt for you.

This blog is to provide information on 2512 Christmas Charity Hunt, a joint Clerk-Of-Course (COC) treasure hunt.
We have manage to invite Master hunter Jayaram Menon (left), well known as Jay to co-clerk this hunt. With his inclusion, hunters can taste some of the 'spicy but yummy' Penang flavoured clues.
This is a treasure hunt clerked by 4 COCs. RM 251.20 entry fee is definitely worth it, as it is a 4 in 1 deal.
